Hoping someone here can help regarding this issue. I installed my lightburn camera yesterday. Did all the calibrations, everything went smooth. Even tried some test jobs and I was good to go. Today I went to use my machine again, clicked update overlay on my camera control and received the message that I needed to do the camera lens alignment. It appears I have to do the whole process over again. Is this a known issue, did I do something incorrect. I hope I don’t have to reprogram this camera everytine I shut my PC down.
The Lens calibration and alignment should both still be available.
From your Profile, I can’t tell what kind of computer you’re using, so I’ll offer something to check if it’s a Laptop. It’s a good idea to test and confirm that your laptop didn’t select the ‘Integral Camera’. Sometimes LightBurn will grab my webcam instead of my LightBurn Camera.
To Restore your previous camera settings please test the following:
Click File,
Click Load Prefs Backup.
Select a file ending with .lbprefs and with a filename that would be about the date / time the camera was set up and working correctly.
Make a mental note of the directory that the files are in and confirm that they’re not saved on an external drive, shared on a home network, or backed up on OneDrive or Google Drive. These shared systems seem to generate more trouble than they are worth.
I ended up doing that from an answer I found in another thread and it worked. Thanks John
