I just recently ran in to this issue, and can’t seem to find an obvious solution—unless I’m overlooking something. I use a Lasermatic MK2 on a Mac Mini M2. I recently updated my OS to 15.3.2, and Lightburn to 1.7.08.
The camera works fine for a few seconds after startup. If I swap camera to “None”, and then back again to “HDR Camera” the feed comes back momentarily before cutting again. I thought it might be related to other apps fighting for camera access—but I disabled the camera access for all apps except Lightburn.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you try if the camera keeps working when you use MacOS PhotoBooth?
You would not be the only one experiencing USB issues related to Sequoia. See if resetting NVRAM and PRAM helps:
If you're experiencing weird glitches with your Mac, doing a reset of your MacBook or desktop Mac could help. Here's how to reset the NVRAM, PRAM, and SMC on either an Intel or M-Series Mac.

I have been having similar issues with camera setup. All permissions have been granted and photo booth is open during the session.
Hardware/Software
MacBook Pro M1 chip
OS Sequoia 15.4
Lightburn 1.7.08
I am able to live view the camera, however when trying to capture an image in the lens calibration the following occurs:
click capture image - says image can not be found
click capture image - image button grays out and the wizard freezes
I have been able to “random successfully” make it to the alignment wizard only to have the following:
Click capture image - all black image is captured
Click capture image - nothing happens
Click capture image - button grays out and wizard freezes
Has anyone figured out how to successfully complete this on a Mac? Its super frustrating to have it make to 90% completion and stall out.

While you are using LightBurn? This would interfere with the camera usage, only one app can access the camera at a time, usually.

I have tried it both ways and still have the same outcome…having PhotoBooth open was a suggested work around from another forum.
