Camera Image Jumping around in New Version (2.0.03)

https://youtu.be/-4kLGCq9N3M - video of my problem

I have this weird problem when I connected to the newest version of lightburn. This is in version 03 and 04.

The camera is jumping around. It’s sometimes stabilizes when I open up another app on my Macintosh like photo booth, but it doesn’t fix it permanently. This is a camera that I bought on Amazon that seems to work fine for the previous version.

This is a link to the camera ELP 16MP Wide Angle USB Camera… Amazon.com

Any ideas why is behaving like this?

Thanks for any input!

I’m having this problem too.. I downloaded version 02 to see if it had something to do with the updates but it’s still happening. I also am working on a Mac

Hello!

Okay, I would definitely reach out to support@lightburnsoftware.com so that they document the problem.

And then, I think I fixed it!

i think the problem was that NO default fps was selected in Lightburn. I think.

I just selected 10fps and all of the sudden, the camera stopped jumping around!
So I think it’s fixed. Try that, see if that works.

Yeah, I did email them yesterday and they thought that my cable was bad or that it wasn’t pushed in far enough. I tried a USB - USB-C cord and that wouldn’t even pick up my camera in Lightburn so I don’t know lol. I ended up bypassing the USB plug-in on the side of my Thunder and just plugged my cord straight into the camera connection. When I have more time this weekend I’ll try the 10fps setting and see if that fixes it or if it’s my USB plug in that went out. Thanks for the suggestion!!

Sounds like a plan, let me know on here if the FPS fixes it! Hopefully mine stays fixed
