After updating to 2.1.01, I’m having trouble with the camera. It captures an image once connected, but it doesn’t update the image until I disconnect and reconnect it. And it takes a LONG time to reconnect. I had this problem with the previous version of Lightburn, where I also had to disconnect and reconnect the camera to get a new image, but that took a relatively short amount of time. What am I doing wrong?
What does the connection path for your camera look like? Are there any USB Hubs or USB Extenders in the path?
I have a 6’ USB-A cable with a tiny USB-A -to- USB-C adapter going into my computer (MacBook Pro).
If you view the Camera tab in LightBurn, you should get a live (or rather, by default, a ~5fps video)
If it’s the overlay on your work area that you’re not seeing the refresh with, click the ‘Update Overlay’ button in the camera window.
If neither of these options work, can you take a screenshot and tell us what camera make and model you are working with?
It works now! I noticed that 2 instances of Lightburn were open at the same time. I inadvertently started a new Lightburn window and didn’t realize it. When I closed one of the instances, the camera started working properly.
I hope this helps anyone out there encountering a similar problem.
