As you can see from the screen shot i am getting a distorted overlay but camera is fine. I have set up the camera as fisheye and standard. Nothing changes. I have calibrated about 10 times now and give up. Are there any ideas? I have a LB-Cam-4kn-75.
You have a very bad angle for the camera view. It looks like the center is ok, and I guess you won’t be able to use much more anyhow. Try to mount the camera above the work area.
Ha Ha. I know why you think that but i had put the lid down when i snipped the screen shot. It is so frustrating as i have used this camera and its previous one for quite a while. This all happened in the last few weeks since my last upgrade. I have even tried an older version with no success. I am going to use an even older one and try that. I have an open studio this weekend and will not be showing the laser now.
Another up date. I have to put some white paper down for the camera to work. Can anyone tell me how to bring back the cameras brightness and exposure adjustment. The web says they are at the top of the camera box but not on mine.
It depends on which camera capture system you chose in main settings.
forget the cameras…an old-fashioned setting, nothing better…the cameras are too complicated and waste time every time they are used…
What OS are you using?, I can’t see it in your profile.
(MacOS and Linux have no camera adjustment option in LB, but Windows PCs should have it)
Regarding your calibration problem, try searching for one of my last (camera) posts here in the forum, it might help you.
LightBurn’s camera system is not optimal or in other words, too difficult to set up correctly, but if it finally succeeds it is worth its weight in gold in one’s (my) daily work.
Except for those of us who’ve figured out how to use a camera effectively and regard it as indispensable.
As the man said, “It’s a time for every style.”
