Camera use with non movable bed

My machine focuses by adjusting the tube and head up and down.
Since the bed does not move to focus, will I be able to use the camera correctly?
I am looking at the 8mp 95 degree camera from lightburn.
Any help please and thank you

The camera system assumes a constant distance from the top of the material to the camera. If that isn’t true, then you’d have to do a camera alignment for each material height that you use, and load the correct one for whatever you’re using at the time.

This is workable if you only use a few different material thicknesses, and a height difference of 1 mm wouldn’t be enough to throw off the alignment much, so you don’t have to align for every possible height.
