Camera worked for calibration, doesn't show up in app

I have a Lightburn camera that has worked fine. I’ve recently moved my machine to a new computer. Camera calibration worked fine (camera was found) but the camera icon remains grayed out and unavailable in the workspace.

I have tried…

  • rebooting (software and system)
  • checking Windows 11 camera privacy (is ok)
  • both default and custom camera setting options

Any help is appreciated.

What time of camera is this? You may need to enable microphone access for the camera to be available.

It is one I got directly from Lightburn. There isn’t a microphone to my knowledge.

To confirm, you’ve given Desktop application access to the camera?

When you say the camera icon is grayed out, can you take a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

Go to the Camera Control window. There should be a pull-down for Camera. Click that and select the camera to be used.
