I am doing some work where I require precision movement and I object are snapping to a grid or another object. I have to zoom way in to get my precision. Can I disable all snapping functions? This would speed me up and allow me to move my smaller objects into place?
Depending on the tool holding CTRL key will disable snapping. You can also disable all snapping behavior in Edit->Preferences under the Snapping section.
