Can i have a layer for text then a separate layer for say a graphic and it engrave
What im trying to do is engrave scripture on this
The width is 148x98 i believe
Suggest you use some of that material as a test bed to explore the proper settings for what you wish to do…
It takes more power to do a sliced tree branch from my back yard than it does to do an mdf basswood… You need to use the materials test on your scrap pieces…

Why not 
If you can get your fine box under your laser nozzle with the right focus distance, you can engrave or cut what you want, with all the layers you need. I do this kind of job once in a while with similar parts to order. It is important to have a template or some other form of reference for your X and Y axis.
