I’m currently running Lightburn 1.7.03 on an Acer Chromebook in Developer Mode on Debian 12 (Bookworm). This Chromebook is fairly high-end with Intel I5 cpu, 8G ram, and 256G. I’ve also used similar Intel-based Samsung Chromebooks. If you can find your way around in Linux and put your Chromebook in Developer Mode… you can install and run Lightburn, though you may have to deal with a possible missing library issue to make it happen. This usually isn’t too difficult to resolve, however, and once done you’re good to go. I’ve been running Lightburn on Chromebooks since 2019.
