You cannot use the home button without limit switches. You can use Go to Origin.

HOME is a mechanical 0,0 location and cannot be changed. A Home cycle sets your Origin.
ORIGIN is a software 0,0 location and can be anywhere. Without limit switches, where the head is sitting when you power up is assigned the Origin. Based on your application, Origin can be changed as needed.
