Can lightburn create a vector (trace) solely from the image in the attached camera?

For example, put an object on the bed, select some function, and lightburn makes an outline vector of that object? Our ‘slowforge’ could do that, but almost never used it - but I’ve an idea in my head that would be amazingly easier for me to do if this function was available. Hell, it might be, I just didn’t look in the right place?
Thanks in advance
John

If I’m understanding you correctly then yes, you can do this.

Thanks, didn’t think to look there!

Ok - this could use a bit of work… would be nice if we could select the area of the camera to capture. Also it has issues when trying to trace a 3d object, with shadows.
I will try to outline what I’m trying to capture on paper. FYI I’m trying to trace an object so I can laser a jig…

As far as I know there’s no way to selectively capture the image but you can selectively choose areas of the image to trace.

Well, my oh my - my bad. I did not see that, as it’s not textually noted in the trace box. But yes, you can indeed select the area of the camera that is your target! I am once again humbled by the capabilities of this here software.
