my image got moved before I could cut it. can not line it back up to finish the cut. any suggestions. using the lasermatic 2
You can Undo changes. I use the backward/left bending arrow and Forward/right bending arrow buttons.
I don’t know what the bending arrows are. I’m still learning Lightburn. I left out the important part I could not line it up with my camera. do you think I will have to realign my camera
With the Lasermatic, it is best to place materials hard up against the front left corner of the honeycomb (not the frame around it) and work from there, that way any job you are doing can be replaced back into the exact same spot if you need to do any additional work.
Hi Skip
Pardon me, forgot to mention Lightburn Doc’s which is a great reference for how to’s.
Quick Reference: Undo/Redo
Reverses or reapplies changes.
Did you engrave some artwork then the material got moved before you could cut it?
I’ve had some success by cheating with the Position Laser
tool:
- Turn on
Position Laser
- Click on an easily seen corner of an already-burned shape to put the laser head there
- Move the material to put that corner at the laser spot
- Click on a different corner to put the laser head there
- Rotate the material around the first spot to put the second spot under the laser head
- Click on the first corner again and nudge the material
- Click on the second corner again and nudge the material
- Repeat until you can click on any already burned spot in the design and have the laser head move to that spot on the material
It is way easier to use a fixture, but sometime ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
