Can not offset shapes correctly

Hi guys

I have a strange problem with the offset function on specific shapes I created…
When choosing the “offset inward” noting happens, but when choosing the “outward” it acts in the same manner than if I use the “both”.
The solution for me is to use the “offset outward”, an than I can afterwards choose the outer shape and use the “offset inward” again in a normal way.

So it’s no big problem, I’m just really curious what causes this?!
The square box is made using the rectangular tool, and are just added to show that this DO work in a normal way. Only the shape to the right, which I have created, seems to have the problem?!

That’s interesting. Can you upload a .lbrn file with that original image where this occurs?

Thank you for your reply…

Yes, it is really weird!

I have attached a picture of the two shapes, one is the original, and the other one has been “offset outward”, and then “re-offset inward” which makes is work in a normal way as usual.
Really strange

The file has been attached as well.

DOOH!!! :flushed:

MY BAD, sorry!
It seems that the path were not closed! I was just sure that I tried everything, but closing path did the trick! Sorry for the inconvenience
