Can the lightburn program generate construction gaps?

Can the lightburn program generate construction gaps so that the material does not fall onto the table after cutting? I know that you can do this by designing various things on vectors, but if you get a ready file, e.g. dxf, it is difficult to add these gaps later.

The photos below show what I mean.


Those are known as “tabs” in the program.

Welcome and yes, they are known as ‘Tabs / Bridges’ in LightBurn, and are found in the ‘Cuts / Layers’ editor. To access, double-click the layer in the ‘Cuts / Layers’ window. :slight_smile:

You also have the option to manually place ‘Tabs / Bridges’ where you’d like using the ‘Add Tabs’ tool as shown below.

Nice steel rule die. What software do you currently use to run that 640watt laser in the picture? I used to design steel rule dies, and used both CimPACK and ArtiosCAD.
