I have done alot of troubleshooting already and still cant seem to get lightburn to recognize my laser plugged in by usb. I used the command sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove brltty and that solved most of the system not loading usb driver for atomstack. However I still try to find my laser within lightburn, it looks for about 30 seconds and nothing comes up. Please help
What version of Lightburn are you trying to run? Linux only runs on v1.7.08 or earlier. Version 2.x.xx does not support Linux.

Should be good there. Calling in help fron an experienced Linux user…
@ednisley, did I read that you were a Linux user?
yes i’m using linux xubuntu 22.04
Yup, although I set up a Win 11 mini-PC for LightBurn to avoid creeping obsolescence:
By now, I’m completely out of the Linux LightBurn loop …
Do not use automatic search. Just add the laser manually (it’s five clicks) and once you are in the main window, select the correct serial port in laser window.
So i added it that way no problem, but now how do i connect it to the laptop for direct control? I’ve been fine up till now writing to sd cards and running gcode off those but I need to do a little calibration for rotational chuck.
Plug in the USB cord?
Or what are you asking for?
