I purchased a 20W xTool laser as an upgrade and trying to get the LightBurn software to control it has failed. The instrument setup is fine and laser listed as ready but upon starting it states the laser is busy. I know the laser works as I can use the xTool software without issue but would prefer to use lightburn if I could get it to work.
Couple step by steps
You added it as a GRBL device manually correct?
Can you send us a screenshot of device settings menu? (edit → device settings)
Also in console window are you getting a correct connection out put of the machine?
What StartFrom are you using, absolute coordentes?
p.s.: assuming is a D1 20W correct?

This has me truly stumped. I went out to take the screenshots as requested after confirming the laser was configured as you called out. I plugged the device to a different USB and it couldn’t find the device. Went through and recreated the laser just as before but now it works. My only guess would be something wrong with the COM5 port from before but now configured on COM7 port it works just fine. I will consider this resolved for now. Thank you.
