The online documentation says “When enabled, the Show Last Position button places a cross-hair cursor in…” but of course it does not say HOW to enable it.
This sounds like a useful feature - how do I enable it ? It appears to be disabled by default.
That can be enabled by clicking ‘Show Last Position’ in the Laser window.
If you don’t see the Laser window, try going to ‘Window’ > ‘Laser’, or ‘Window’ > ‘Reset to Default Layout’.
First thing I tried. Has no effect.
The button is lit up in light blue, and cannot be pressed.
The documentation says this must be enabled - how ?
Blue indicates that the button is on. Click again to turn off.
Have you jogged your laser using the ‘Set laser position’ or ‘Move Laser to Selection’ tools since enabling it?
I was using the jog arrows on the Move menu - the ShowLastPosition does not work with these. (BUG).
But, I followed your suggestion and used the SetLaserPosition, and it does work with this.
I now see that when the knob is lit up blue, it means it (the function) is enabled. A check box, or one of the little switches would be more consistent.
