I cannot get lightburn to do a test pattern right.
It does not show numbers on left and bottom just the squares.
I’m not a pro so I’m guessing it’s me doing something wrong so thanks in advance.
I’ll show pics of all 3 tabs at bottom of material test, then I’ll show preview….then I’ll show my homemade redneck tester I made.
Can we see picture of material test that didn’t come out right. Also looks like you want to run a fill test, but you are on line mode.
You’re not using the material test as it’s designed. What you show in the preview is what is supposed to be lasered, not the pooch.
Run the test again and actually laser from there.
Lots of videos out there to show the end result.
I have run the test as shown, it does not laser the power and speeds as I stated. I only did the dog so I could get some kind of range going. It did all the boxes but no texts.
I have a pic of line , once I realized what I did I ran on fill mode, both tests laser did squares but didn’t show the power and speeds.
According to your text settings and test 6000/20 won’t leave a mark. Which is strange for a 20w laser.
Yea, I don’t know why…when I use a 20w material list and try their settings never works out. I don’t know why.
You did not show the Material Test window. Is Enable Text at the bottom checked?
The text layer is set to 20% power, 6000 mm/min, which is going to be much too fast. Try 1000 mm/min for the text and see if that works better, and if not, increase the power and try again.
Have you cleaned your lens? My 10w does better than yours.

So I decided to run a new test…
Only thing I changed was all 3 tabs at bottom made sure they was on fill. Then I put speeds and power and hit start no idea why it worked today and not other days, wish I did know so I could share it. Here is todays test, from looking at this what would you guys do for next test, obviously I need to lower power and increase speed. And also in the text tab should I change that to line so it don’t burn the power and speed text….one last thing it didn’t cut it out is it supposed too? I just did a 4x4 and cut it out myself. Thanks.
Yes I did with alcohol yesterday 
If you have border enabled and cut settings that would cut it which from your settings on red layer you don’t.
Less power and do an interval test.
