Cannot pause job after newest update

After this most recent update, my progress bar has completely gone away and as a result, I am unable to pause any job. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as updating the microsoft redistributables since I noticed it ran an update for those when I first installed it.

Custom desktop running AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, 64-bit system, running windows 10 pro

Try hiding your taskbar and see if that helps. That was my problem.
