I upgraded my laser so I unplug my old XTool and set it aside. person of interest wants to buy the machine but has to see it working. I plug in the XTool in and connect the USB. Open Lightburn and the old grbl interface is not in the list. I create a new interface and no luck communicating. I have tried everything that google suggests but can’t get the link. The g-code screen in Lightburn is just spinning and never stops any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Try some of the Forum suggestions… Try loading a backup copy of your .lbprefs file from an earlier date.
If that does not work, reload your .lbdevs file for xTool.
Just use XCS. It will be much easier to use it without any hassle, and the buyer can see the machine in action.
