Can't connect to Ruida laser after license renewal, pings fine

Right after renewing my Lightburn software license key tonight, I can no longer connect to my Ruida 60W laser. It was connecting and working just fine earlier today.

The laser is connected to my router via an ethernet cable and I connect to my network form my Sufrace Pro tablet via WiFi. I can ping the laser’s IP address from my laptop just fine so it’s not a network or connection issue, it seems to be specific to Lightburn.

I have tried rebooting the laser and the tablet, re-creating the laser in Lightburn devices, changing the laser IP address and updating in Lightburn. Nothing is working. I did get it to work when directly connecting via USB and using Find My Laser, but it took 3 tries. Anyway that’s not really a good solution since the whole point of the tab let is so that I can move around.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated

Whelp, it started working again and I have no clue why. I kept trying the same things again like changing the IP address in the laser and updating in Lightburn then changed it back to the original one, restarted Lightburn again and now it says Ready and is working fine. I had already done all of this stuff many times but now it works. Maybe the license renewal finally went through on their backend or something?

Most likely, there’s another device on the network with the same IP address, assigned by the router. You can ping that address and something will respond, but it could be either (or both) devices.
