Can't figure out how to find open fill line

I have connected to items with the node tool. I go to preview the image and the soft ware tells me
Open shapes skipped - LightBurn 1.4.01
1 shape(s) were set to fill, but werentclosed
these have been removed as they cause problems

I click show me and a line of dancing ants start running on a line meaning it open.
Ok I get that. I have tried Alt J, I’ve brought up the Edit Nodes, zoomed in and traced the line and can’t find an open node. So please tell me how the HW double toothpicks are you suppose to find it> why not make the program show you the exact spot?
Anyway, if anyone can tell me how to find the opening in the shape I would really apricate it.

Thank You
Steve

without seeing the file it is hard to say, sometimes it is necessary to zoom in with node edding enabled and or show shape direction. Send the file and we will look at it.

Try moving nodes and see if they are connected. Some are quite difficult to actually connect.

I try auto-join and auto-close first. As you’ve discovered, that doesn’t always work. On a long complicated path, I have found it’s easiest to click edit nodes and look for the green square node(s) and try to click+drag them. There’s probably one overlapping. It usually only takes a few minutes to track down.

Yeah the green nodes were the key to finding the openings. I got it done now. Thanks everyone
