I just received my 60w fiber laser and purchased Lightburn.
After running a few sample projects, I noticed the axis needed calibrated when I drew a 2" square and i came in about 4". I read where I needed to go to edit and select machine settings… unfortunately I can’t seem to find machine settings, just settings and device settings. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you
Galvo uses device settings.
Thank you, I will continue to work on this.
Did you import your lens correction file into Lightburn when you created the device?
At this stage, you need to find your configuration file… Mine was on the memory stick here

Fiber lasers do not have machine settings - Those are “settings that live in the machine itself”, and fiber lasers have no such thing. All settings are in the Device Settings within LightBurn, which stores them as part of your LightBurn preferences and applies them to the machine every time it conncts or runs a job.
Thank you, can you tell me how I can calibrate the axis for my laser?
Greatly appreciate everyone’s help!
The only adjustments I know of are covered pretty well in this Laser Everything video on galvo timing adjustments.
If this isn’t what you mean, sing out…
Thank you all for your help, you guys are great!
I still haven’t figured it out but am learning a ton!
