When I run the “9 Point Correction” pattern in LightBurn on my ComMarker MOPA 60W laser using black cardstock (to calibrate the galvo/lens), in this case with a 110x110mm lens, it seems the speed, power, frequency, and QPulse parameters used by LightBurn are hidden. The values shown in the test dialog box are not the actual ones. I’ve spent days trying to figure them out without success.
When I run the test via LightBurn’s correction interface, I get a nicely engraved pattern of white lines on the black cardstock. However, when I try to engrave a shape or figure using manual settings, all I’ve managed to do so far is either create grooves or cut through the cardstock.
In short, I don’t know how to achieve white engraving on black cardstock.
Could someone please help me figure this out?
