I am trying to engrave an object on a flat surface with an X Tools D1. When framing or burning, the laser will only move on the X-axis. The rotary tool rotates for the Y-axis instead. However it shows that it is disabled in the rotary settings.
Did you turn the laser off, wait 30 seconds and turn it back on? Did you unplug the rotary when you disabled it, restart laser, then try something flat?
