Card stock for testing

FYI - I do a lot of text engraving. When I want to test something I found some craft paper at the Dollar Store that works perfect. It comes in 22" x 28" size with a black surface and a white inner core. It works perfect for testing images and text. I cut it to the size I want and can use both sides.

Would like to see what this produces. Share some pictures, if willing.

As I understand you using card stock shows the engraving to be run . This won’t give you the speed and power settings… right?

Hi Richard. Correct, I just use it to confirm what I’m going to laser. Cheaper than doing it on the final product.

Hi Rick. Here a picture of a 6x8 piece with text. I used in to count the characters on the page. It’s cheaper than using a piece of anodized aluminum. Because of the white core it turns out great.
