Does anybody know of a way for lightburn to have the laser show where the center of the engraved image will be on the material? I have several jobs that need engraving on irregular surfaces and the image is small. I cant get the framing speed to slow down enough to center it that way.

Have you tried to play with these features?

For diode lasers, that’s controlled by the Speed
setting in the Move
window :
You may set a compromise speed: too slow for normal jogging and too fast for framing.

Or just adjust it as needed. I am not in a production environment, so 2500mm/m works fine for me.

You can also set a normal speed for framing and jog with Ctrl or Shift.

You can enable continuous framing potentially to give you more time?
Edit > Device Settings in the top menu.
You can also change the framing speed from the Move window in LightBurn
Change frame speed by adjusting jogging speed in Move window.
If you recently upgraded there’s a bug where the speed won’t be saved automatically upon close.
You can workaround that by going to Edit->Settings and then click Okay apparently this should save the setting.
