I have a rectanguler glass 1000 X 500 and i want to trace 100 X 100 in the middle.
So i must to move the plotter manually to the middle 500 X 250 and press origin? always press origin and start cutting?
I’m using cutting plotter from china, ruida controller

I would draw a 1000 x 500 rectangle and center the design within it. Put the rectangle on a different layer than the design and set it to “no output” or use one of the tool layers for the rectangle.
Set the drawing origin to lower left corner of rectangle. Set Start From = Current Position.
Put glass in machine, jog laser head to lower left corner of glass and hit the Origin button on controller.
Run it!
