I set my size and create a shape, text, or image. I try to center it to the layout but it seems to be centering on my lower left hand corner. This did not happen until 1.5.01. Here is an example. If i try to center the green circle to the middle of this piece it centers to the lower left hand corner
Go to the Window Menu and uncheck arrange, then go back to Window Menu and check Arrange(long). This will give you all the options in one click instead of having to go into a sub menu to choose.
I think you are choosing the wrong icon.
I am still having issues centering items. here is an example. My work piece is 17x17 and when i center the image it goes off to the right. I never had this issue until i updated to 15.0.1
Am i the only one who is having this issue?
Try pulling some guidelines on edges of workspace and move to guides and hold alt to snap.
I am not sure what you mean, i have an older version 1.4 on another computer. And it works as it has always worked since the update. Here is an example of how it was working. I have a 12 x 12 work space and i created the Letter A and when i use the "move to page center, it centers the letter as expected. Here is before i clock center:
The circle with the cross hairs, does not work. I pick the item i want centerd and it doesnt not do anything …i am sure i am doing something wrong.
Your image layer is set to output but I’m betting you have the show turned off (because I’m not able to see from the first pic).
Your center is referencing both output layers.
Turn image output off and try again.
I have 1.5.00 that seems to work, so maybe just roll it back, to 1.5.00.
where do i make that change
I updated the version on my 2nd pc…and wouldnt you know it, it is now centering…ill try a new install on my work pc. Thanks All!
