Looks like it takes standard G-Code. You could try and export some G-Code and try it.
I’ve never heard of it before, so I would say not. 
Does it have native support for laser output? CNC boards often aren’t well suited for laser use unless specifically designed for it.
If used only for constant-output cutting it can work, but if you’re trying to do dithering or grayscale, it needs very fast PWM output switching, and most of these are made for spindles, which respond slowly by comparison.
