Change many shapes on one layer to a different layer

Is there a way to change many shapes that are on one layer over to a different layer without having to highlight each one individually?

Hold down the shift key and click the layer in the Cuts/Layers panel and it will select everything on that layer. Then you can select a different layer from the Layer Colors.
