Change of PC need to retrieve thet license serial number from old machine

Hi,
We purchased a machine last year and still have 90 days left of the software updates before we need to purchase again. We are in the process of changing our hardware, and unfortunately, the person we bought our machine off has passed away and so we cannot get the serial number from him. Is there a way of retrieving the number from the existing installation and transferring it to the new PC?
