Change only one parameter globally or per project

Hello, All Fiber laser LB 1.6.03
Is there a way to change one parameter setting on several / all layers in a project, without affecting all the other parameters on the projects layers?

Can you give a real life example? Upload a sample of what you want to have us try to help you with.

This is the upload to forum button (or you can drag and drop into the REPLY box.

Sure. Line interval is 0.0245. Like to change all of the 0.0245 to something else say 0.0225 on all layers without changing anything else, and without going through layer by layer. Thanks.

I do not think so. Each layer is a stand alone operation. Not sure, but you might be able to if you did it with sub-layers.

Have you watched it in Preview mode? Glyph #5 down goes wild with the overscan. Was this on purpose?

Thanks for looking.
Subs would only work if I was applying settings to the same “Glyph” , even if I could change one parameter across all sub layers.
Just looking I don’t see anything different between any of the layers in my preview, although the order isn’t what comes out on the rotary. It starts at the bottom and works up. Maybe you could screen capture a video? Not really that important, just curious.

Regardless, this is just a sample to demonstrate/ make clear the question. SVG lasers great, not the issue. Just looking for a shortcut when changing LI on 13 different layers for a different circumference or test.

That second video is pretty much what I saw in my Preview, but overscan was different starting with the 5 glyph. Did you change the overscan settings?

No, didn’t touch a thing.
Overscan is not a thing with galvos I don’t think.

The only way to do such a thing half-automated is to open the .lbrn2-file in a text editor, search for the value and replace it automatically (search & replace funtion). This should work in your specific use case.

So for 13 layers maybe no time savings, but if I had 26 layers this would help.
Also if I had more /other parameters to change.
Thanks.
