I am aware here on the forum that this problem exists and has not been solved, so I bring it up again to find a solution.

System: BigLinux (Manjaro)
Lightburn 1.3.01

This is because the update requires an older version of libSSL.

If you install libssl1.0-dev that will work. In most newer distributions that package is deprecated or no longer supported.

Thanks for the clarification. Although this library is not used by Manjaro, I will look for an alternative.

Ah. Sorry. I misread your distro. I thought you were using Mint.

Might be available in openssl-1.0 package but not certain.
