Choose text justification?

Hi guys,

If text is entered on a single line, and then carriage return to break to a second or third line, it appears as though the text is automatically center justified.

Is there any setting (much like a word processor) where one can to left- or right-justified text?

Well I feel like a dummy.

I did that, but I must not have been in text mode. Doing it this way does exactly what I needed.
