Nice work Bob. The top right image looks interesting “Keys and Crap”. What is the process for this one? I can’t quite see what you have engraved on or how you have achieved that look.

It is a black painted “tray” with a wood sheet engraved, and glued in place.
Ah, I see it now. The shadow made it look like it was under glass or something. Nice clean engraving! Did you have tape over the top of the wood before and then peel off, or was the engraving deep enough to be sanded afterwards.

I actually wasn’t able to mask this piece, so it was lightly sanded, only on the cut edges, not the raster.
In that case great job on the rastering, looks great.

What laser do you use for that?
Yes, the black bottle openers are black anodized aluminum.
I use a K40 with mini gerbil board and American Photonics focus lens.
