Chunk and roller share the same settings, why?

i have a roller and a chunk and they definitively don’t have the same hardware ( diameter…)
Why lightburn is sharing the same settings ?
each time i swap from the first to the second i have to change these settings….not great

You could just duplicate your laser device and use either profile exclusively with chuck or rotary.

Devices:

  1. Falcon Roller
  2. Falcon Chuck

Set up the rotary to match your device name. You do not have to turn on the Rotary Enable to use either profile.

I have both an xTool Chuck and Atezr Roller rotary. This is how I set up two of my machines to use both.

Effectively it’s a solution . But with my fiber laser I have 2 lens so already 2 profile. 4 if I use your solution….well it’s not the easy way but thank you
