Hi, I am new to this forum. Would anyone know where the circle cut tool has disappeared to since the updates. Much appreciated
Welcome @laser-pic, I share a bit about the recent changes to drawing tools. 
Use a long press on the square tool to open the context dialog, you will see the normal shape tools there. You can also switch from ellipse to square using (ctrl+e) for ellipse, and (ctrl+r) for rectangle respectively.
