Closing Unsaved File

After 3 years I decided to support the creators and upgraded to the newest version, 1.7.03. Immediatly noticed the change to the warning when you try to close a file you haven’t saved. Every other software in the world—and my previous version of LightBurn—when asking “Would you like to save your changes?” gives the options of Yes, No, and Cancel. LightBurn not only rewords the options to Save, Cancel, and Discard, but has put the options in a new order.

I can’t be the only user that finds this jarring.

Except Microsoft Word? However, I find this useful because it prevents automatic click responses to the question. It is like an “Are you sure?” window.

Hello Jim,

This has already been addressed and will be fixed on 1.7.05.

Oddly, Mac vs Window makes a difference, so we had to accommodate for that when we introduced the 3 buttons
