Hello , before getting to my issues , I am using the trial version of millmage , i like it a very much, great software. Okay, my issue is I am using Misuter pro.CNC, and open bills software for my work, which will change once I get millmage. My\n Issue is, the CNC does not go to the home position. It keeps sending alarms with the limit. Switch, also when I start to carve an 8 / 8 workpiece, the router goes up exactly 300 mm out of the work area and comes back to the center of my workpiece to start the carve
- What Device type did you select? I have seen the Masuter name before, so searcg the Forum for the recommended Device type. Albert Imagination (A.I.) suggest the GRBL, without any extensions or modifiers.
- Assuming GRBL, fire up the machine, try to Home, then enter ? in the Console window. Copy and paste the entire contents from the Console window in your Reply.
If you have alarms and it has not properly completed the Home cycle, everything after that is pretty much meaningless. It needs to succeed so the controller knows where the spindle motor is located.
The other day I sent the reply with two screenshots of the console remarks and I hit reply to send it and it was emailed sent to mike , and no response back.

If I am the “mike” you sent it to, I did not get them. If it was a Forum Message, I would have replied that we should keep everything in the Thread so others can benefit from it too.
Screen captures (SHFT+WinKey+S) are infinitely better than cell phone pix.
Alarm 9 says it either found a limit switch that did not open when it should, or it is already sitting on a switch.
- Power up with the laser sitting in the middle, but do not Home.
- In the Console window, enter ?.
- Then enter $$.
- Copy everything from the Console window and paste it in a Reply.
