Cnc move orders directly on the drawing

Hello

I’m starting with cnc (longtime user of lightburn for laser) and using gsender to run my machine. There is one thing I would like to do is to check the position of the spindle on my wood piece directly on the piece design/drawing. I mean the same thing I do with the “set laser position (alt-L)” on lightburn? This will allow to be sure to deconflict any problem before?

Thanks for your help

Olivier

Have you tried the below?

correct me if wrong , if he’s

using gsender , MM isnt connected to his cnc so that wont ?

Hmm good point, I now also wonder what software is he using to design/generate the Gcode?

There are puzzle pieces missing here me thinks

Well I have been a little misunderstood. I use Aspire or fusion for generating gcode (so no need of MM for this part) and then Gsender for running my cnc. The purpose of My question about MM is to know if I will move to MM in order to find options I don’t have with gsender and the possibility to move the spindle on the drawing is an important one.

In any case thanks to all of you for your answers

MM will be the answer to all your questions, I was a long time Aspire user and making the move to MM was a complete game changer for me…along with countless other users.

Whist MM is still in it’s infancy it’s an absolute game changer being an all in one solution, and for me personally the fact that it works dynamically all under one roof is an incredible time saver.

Just download the trial…you will not regret it

Thanks Garry. I just DL MM and install it but now I need sometimes to learn the soft and see it.

as you have been longtime LB user the bulk of it is the same

dependent on what machine you have it can be a pretty straight forward process, but some machines take a bit more tweaking

custom gcodes can be ur friend, by load previous settings ud in other program to run ur machine

any M0 need to be changed to @P to create a pause
