CNC Software - MillMage

We would love that sort of thing, but there’s the unfortunate reality that not making the user go through the set up steps for their machine can and does lead to crashes, failures, and support tickets.

$199? I thought I read somewhere its a monthly sub?

No. It’s the same model as with LightBurn, at least that is what I remember.

IDD, i stay with LB, way to expensive for a hobby.

MillMage will be USD$199, marked down to $149 at launch.

It’s a lifetime license key, with 1 year of updates. After your updates period expires, you can keep using the last released version indefinitely, or you can add a year of updates if you feel we’re putting out new features and bug fixes that are worth it!

I will probably stay with early version of carbide create and openbuilds. Not as convienent but I don’t do that much cnc for the price.
I bought Lightburn because I couldn’t find a good cad program that had low learning curve but still gave me most tools that I needed to desighn project.
Lightburn had a good price point.
So now I have a good cad plus laser and a cluncky cam and motion control for a price I am happy with.
