CNC to Lightburn is an effort in futility

Should I ever get laser to work again from switching from CNC, I am not changing again.
Miserable hours of frustration trying to get jog controls to not exceed machine travel, origin changing from bottom left to upper left. Having to disable soft limits to be able to jog machine, only to have Y axis reverse after disabling soft limits, to then reverse back after homing. Oh, and soft limits work great with them disabled. Also had to disable hard limits. Go figure. But must be enabled to make them work in CNC mode.
Millmage is only possible reason I would try and run both off of one machine.
It better make switching from CNC to laser and back one click or Iā€™m out.

Get Laser working, save preferences/settings, same with CNC, then just reload when changing.

I concur, I have an infrared and a 48/24 watt blue diode that require completely different travels speeds and material settings as well as the 48/24 has auto setting focus and a red laser for replacement that requires an offset and the infrared has manual focus and no offset which I set up as a separate profile. I was glad I could do so
