I would wonder about any adverse reactions from zapping zinc powder. It’s a bad idea to be welding zinc plating (galvanized steel) and I’m sure the powder version will vaporize even easier. At the very least, heavy ventilation outside, but most people don’t keep the laser out of doors.

Another option is acrylic paint in a spray can. I have had some luck with it (white) and it is water cleanup.

With regard to the TiO2 mix, would you be willing to share which formula worked the best for you? I’ve just obtained some of the powder and some ceramic tiles, and I’ll be running a test program soon.

Ah, I just use rustoleum gloss white and I don’t remove the paint afterwards, but I’m extremely lazy.
