Under device settings “Working Size” there is a toggle for “CNC”. I looked in the docs but this is not listed. I would think this means you are using a CNC with a laser attached.
I assume docs are for an earlier version.

I believe this was added to allow negative coordinates on common GRBL controllers
I can be corrected though, if this is not the case
Also seems the 1.6 “what’s new” is not updated fully
