I have a problem with getting my Laser (Sculpfun 70Max) to complete its task.
I have the image set up correctly in LightBurn, i.e., Speed, Power, DPI, grayscale, and check out the preview, and it all looks great. Once I start printing it, it has the exact speed, power, and DPI, but it only burns straight lines; no image. I tried several different modes, Stacki, Jarvis, etc., and again the preview looks great, but the laser burns only straight lines. I took out the laser head and cleaned it well, and again, the same result.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Is this the same for vector objects like squares or circles? Test those as well.
Be ware that the proview window only shows data that is sent to the laser, not how the material will react. So in case of a grayscale mode, the image can be looking good in preview but result in totally burned material. Though in Dithering modes, you shouldn’t have lines but dots.
Show the LB window, the preview window and the result to help us judge.

Do you mean it moves back and forth along the same line over and over, or does it just scan back and forth in straight lines (Xaxis) but moves slightly (Yaxis) each time?
