I’ve seen very complex, multilayered laser-cut art on Etsy and other sites. I’m curious about the software used to create the initial images. I’m not specifically referring to mandalas; rather, I’m interested in non-symmetrical art. Some of these artworks consist of 12 or more layers. I suspect the initial drawing is created using vector software, but perhaps there is a better way. Any ideas?
Most multi-layered designs are created in vector programs like Adobe Illustrator and CorelDraw. CAD programs also can be used to create them.
