My LightBurn free trial was for LightBurn Pro version 2.0.05. Today I purchased a license, but the version I received was LightBurn Core 2.0.05. My machine is not functioning under the conditions offered by LightBurn Pro 2.0.05. What should I do?
Your laser is a diode unit with a GRBL controller. The Lightburn Core version is correct for that laser. You can upgrade to the Pro license for twice the cost, but there is little benefit for your situation.

@MikeyH summarized the issue to the essentials.
If the information in your profile is correct, you may have used the Pro trial version (I believe it may have worked because the description of that version mentions “in addition to GCode-based devices”) and purchased the Pro version.
The staff who handle these matters at the Lightburn store, realizing that you were purchasing a version that was not the most suitable for the type of machine you use, corrected this by selling you the correct one.
Considering the price difference between the two versions, I don’t know how this difference was managed, nor does it matter, but it would be a way to realize that something was out of the ordinary.
If this is indeed what happened and you cannot get the machine to work, I recommend that you open a new topic with the specific problem, describing what you have already tried to do to correct the situation.
You will certainly have plenty of help.
If everything I wrote above does not apply to your case, then you always have the option of sending a message to support at Support@LightBurnSoftware.com. They will clarify the situation.
