Configurar máquina para interruptores fin de carrera

Buenas noches.

salu2 cordiales.

Good evening. I’ve installed the limit switches on my Longer RAY 10w machine. The set is original from Longer, the manufacturer. I’ve also installed the firmware that needs to be modified, following their instructions.

I find that when I start the machine and open LightBurn, the “Console” screen gives me errors, and on the “Laser” and “Move” screens, it doesn’t respond to the options, doesn’t move, doesn’t return to the starting point, or anything.

I suppose I’ll need to configure the program to detect the new firmware and know that the machine now has limit switches.

Would someone be so kind as to tell me, step by step, how to solve this problem? Or provide an address where I can find the instructions?

Thank you for your attention and help.

Best regards.

Error 5 says you issued a command, like Home, but the machine is not configured properly.
In the Console window, enter $22=1 to enable the Homing cycle (because you added limit switches).

Error 22 says you told it to move, but no speed command was set. This can only happen if you use the Console to issue a Move command without entering a Fnnn with it.

Get the Home cycle working first. Then check to see if the Jog control moves the laser in the correct directions.

Do not worry about the Error 22 for now.

Does your machine have limit switches and if so, does it Home properly?

HOME

  1. Trolley (X) and gantry (Y) rapid move towards the switches.
  2. When the switches are hit, the machine will stop and reverse. It may not reverse until both switches are found.
  3. The machine will pull off the switches slowly until the switches open.
  4. The machine will reverse back onto the switches very slowly until the switches close.
  5. The machine will reverse and pull off the switches slowly until they open.
  6. The controller establishes this as the Home position. It is usually shown as something very close to 0,0 as the position if the controller is set for the first quadrant. If it shows large numbers, this can be changed with the G10 command.

There is no other version of the Home cycle. If you have limit switches, this is how it should work.

If you do not have limit switches, where it powers up is the Origin. Home is a machine mechanical function. Origin is a software design position. They are not the same thing.
